Today's launch of the Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 satellite means that we're down to three more NASA Earth-observing mission launches on the books for 2014. Still set to reach space later this year are the Soil Moisture Active Passive mission, and the ISS-RapidScat and CATS instruments, which will be deployed on the International Space Station.
