Midwest Air Reports 18% Increase in June Traffic

Midwest Air Group has reported an increase of 18.4% and 15.4%, respectively, in its traffic and capacity for June 2007. However, the group recorded a 2.5% decrease in its revenue per total available seat mile.

Effectively, the group reported a 2.2% increase in its load factor from 84.1% in June 2006 to 86.3% this June.

The group’s Midwest Airlines operations reported a 13.9% increase in June traffic, while its Midwest Connect operations recorded an increase of 82.3%.

For six months ended June 30, 2007, the group reported a 12.9% rise in traffic, while Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connect reported an increase of 11.6% and 31.5%, respectively.
