Now Easier Than Ever for Consumers With Verizon Home Phone and Wireless Service to Save Money and Time By Integrating Their Bills

NEW YORK, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon is making it easier and more attractive than ever for Verizon home phone customers to save money and time by enrolling in ONE-BILL and combining their Verizon Wireless and Verizon landline bills.
Verizon phone customers who are not on a Freedom calling plan and have Verizon Wireless service will receive a one-time credit of $25 on a future bill if they enroll in ONE-BILL by July 29. Customers with a qualifying Verizon Freedom calling plan -- or with combinations of calling, High Speed Internet and DIRECTV Service from Verizon -- can add ONE-BILL integrated billing and save from $4.99 to $9.99 every month for a year.
With Verizon Freedom Essentials as the home calling plan, adding ONE-BILL creates a new multi-service bundle, available since January: Verizon Double Freedom combining two services, Verizon Triple Freedom combining three, or Verizon Ultimate Freedom, the first four-service bundle offered in the Verizon market.
"Today we've made it easier and more attractive than ever for our landline customers who also have Verizon Wireless service to enroll in ONE-BILL," said Rich McCusker, product management director for Verizon. "We have simplified the process of synching up the landline and wireless bills, and simplified the bill itself, eliminating details of each call.
"The benefit to our customers is one convenient monthly statement, which will reduce the mail they receive, cut down on paper waste, and save time spent on paying bills. Customers can 'go green' and save a tree while saving themselves time," McCusker said.
With ONE-BILL, wireless call details are not listed; however, Verizon Wireless customers who want itemized bills can obtain them for an additional charge.
Other conditions may apply. For more information on Verizon ONE-BILL, call 888-623-7387 or visit http://www.verizon.com/onebill.
