Vtext delivers a short message (160 characters or less) from a computer to a mobile phone. To send a message to a Verizon Wireless phone from a personal computer, enter the person's mobile number followed by @vtext.com in the "to" field of your e-mail message -- for example, 5551234567@vtext.com.
