By JESSE NOYES
Boston ad agency Hill Holliday picked up a bigger slice of Verizon Wireless’ advertising business yesterday.
The wireless carrier said it was consolidating marketing work among three agencies and handing much of its local branding duties to Hill Holliday.
Hill Holliday previously handled Verizon Wireless’ account in the Northeast but will now handle ads in local markets nationwide.
The work, which will consist primarily of print, radio and billboards, will be done out of Hill Holliday’s New York and Greenville, S.C., offices.
Verizon Wireless previously used eight agencies to handle its local marketing.
