Rainfall Totals 4 Inches in Some Places

Jul. 26–Grand Forks didn’t get much rain out of Wednesday night’s storm, but some places got as much as 3 and 4 inches, according to the National Weather Service and Herald readers.
Wesley Wolfgram said he got about 3 inches of rain at his home north of Niagara, N.D., and nearby neighbors recorded 4 inches.
The Weather Service reported 4.5 inches of rain at Starkweather, about 25 miles north of Devils Lake.
Scattered thunderstorms could continue today south and east of a line from Roseau, Minn., to Valley City, N.D., according to the Weather Service. They should end this afternoon and make way for a nice weekend.
