Janet Bourette of Shrewsbury joins other Verizon employees in a union protest of the sale of the company’s landlines to FairPoint Communications. The protesters gathered outside the company’s Post Office Square building in Boston yesterday. Union members said they were gearing up for negotiations with Verizon over a new contract.
