The Burleigh County Council on Aging will receive a portion of the proceeds.

GRAND FORKS (AP) – This city’s airport commission has approved plans for a new terminal, after cutting the price tag from $29 million to $20 million by making modifications to the building plans.
Construction at Grand Forks International Airport could begin as early as 2009, commission chairman Brad Beyer said.
A Federal Aviation Administration grant is expected to fund up to 70 percent of the cost, said Steve Johnson, executive director of the Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority. Some state funding also might be available, leaving between $5.8 million and $7.8 million for local taxpayers to fund.
The site for the new one-story terminal is about half a mile south of the existing terminal. It could grow to as many as six gates.
Commissioners had identified a need for a new terminal three years ago. The existing facility is prone to leaks during storms, which results in mold problems. Officials say there also are security problems, and the terminal is not large enough to accommodate another airline.

Blair has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and fornication.
Schaefer was given a year of unsupervised probation and ordered to pay $300 in fines and fees.
