COADE Names Lu Senior Engineer/Developer for Plant Engineering Solutions

COADE announced today that Xiaojun Lu, PhD, has joined the company as Senior Engineer/Developer for Plant Engineering Solutions, where he will focus on software development for the company's popular engineering analysis and design solutions including CAESAR II pipe stress analysis software; PV Elite for pressure vessel and heat exchanger design and analysis; and TANK, for designing and analyzing oil storage tanks. Lu brings with him over 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering and software development and programming for such names as Boeing, KBR and China National Offshore Oil Corporation, plus experience in mechanical engineering research at Texas A&M University.

"Dr. Lu's proven background in mechanical engineering and his extensive knowledge of finite element analysis, object analysis and design, fluid dynamics and other key processes was pivotal in him joining our team," explained David Little, director of Technology, Research and Development at COADE. "Dr. Lu's software development experience in multiple programming languages and program code conversion are all skills that will augment our software development efforts. Dr. Lu earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston, and a BS in Power Machinery Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
