Norwegian Envoy Upbeat on Cooperation With Tajikistan

Dushanbe, 24 August: The newly-appointed Norwegian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Tajikistan, Mette Kongshem, presented her credentials to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon this morning.

The Norwegian ambassador told Emomali Rahmon about the characteristics of Norway’s economic strategy in Tajikistan. In particular, she shared her plans with the president, namely to make private companies and her government interested in cooperating with Tajikistan in the hydroelectric power generation sector.
