A man was duct-taped to his seat after allegedly trying to open the rear door of a Frontier Airlines plane en route from Denver to New York.
The whole rest of the flight, all the way in, he was yelling and trying to bite the tape, and they ended up restraining him with an extra lap belt, said passenger Bobby Vigil of Estes Park, Colo.
The young man, who was not identified, was arrested Saturday after the plane landed safely at LaGuardia Airport, reported KUSA-TV in Denver.
Vigil said he and other passengers helped a flight attendant restrain the man when she yelled that he was trying to open the rear door.
Airline officials said the door had safety features preventing it from opening.
