Posted on: Monday, 27 August 2007, 09:13 CDT

Horizon Air is now offering Spokane-to-California fares for as low as $59 to Sacramento and $79 to Los Angeles (LAX) or San Diego for travel through Jan. 11, 2008, when tickets are purchased by Oct. 6.

The fares are valid on Horizon's two daily nonstop jet flights from Spokane to Sacramento and Los Angeles and one daily nonstop flight from Spokane to San Diego.

All flights are operated with 70-seat CRJ-700 regional jets that feature two-across seating, so there is no middle seat. The flights come with Horizon's special brand of inflight service, which includes snacks, Starbucks coffee, and Northwest wines and microbrews at no additional charge.

These special sale fares are available online at horizonair.com. You can also obtain tickets by calling Horizon at 1-800-547-9308 or by contacting a travel agent. However, there's an additional $10 charge per person for tickets purchased at a Horizon Air or Alaska Airlines airport location or through one of their reservations call centers.

Named 2007 Regional Airline of the Year by Air Transport World magazine, Horizon serves 48 cities throughout California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and British Columbia and Alberta. Together, Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines serve 92 cities and are subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group, Inc. (NYSE:ALK).

Fares shown apply to direct flights only, require 14-day advance purchase and must be purchased by Oct. 6, 2007. These fares are not available Nov. 16-17, 21, 24-26; Dec 14-15, 19-22, 26-28, 2007; Jan. 1-2, 4-7, 2008. Fare are nonrefundable but can be changed for a $50 fee when changed online at horizonair.com ($75 when made through a Horizon Air or Alaska Airlines reservation call center or ticket counter) and any applicable change in fare. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or all days. All fares and schedules subject to change without notice. Other restrictions apply.
