American Airlines Announces New Service From Dallas/Fort Worth to Panama City, Panama, and Providenciales, Turks & Caicos

FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines today announced it will add two new routes from its Dallas/Fort Worth hub (DFW) to Panama City, Panama (PTY), and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (PLS), beginning Dec. 13.

American, a founding member of the global oneworld(R) Alliance, will fly both routes with its 148-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, featuring both First Class and Coach/Economy cabins.

The Panama City route will operate four days a week with southbound flights scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Northbound flights out of Panama City will operate Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The Dallas/Fort Worth - Providenciales route will operate one day each week, with both southbound and northbound flights on Saturday.

"Both routes nicely complement our existing service to these locations from Miami and New York. These departures will provide new opportunities for millions of North Texas travelers, as well as easy one-stop connections through DFW for those in the central and western United States."
