Wanted Russian Oil Tycoon’s Former Company Fails to Elect New Head

Moscow, 30 August: A special meeting of Russneft shareholders to elect a new president of the company [to replace Mikhail Gutseriyev who is wanted by the Russian authorities] has failed to take place due to the absence of a quorum, Russneft vice-president Eduard Sarkisov has told Interfax.
The company will announce a new date for the special meeting later, he added.
