Single Lane Remains

Single lane restrictions remain in place at the Wairere Dr- Avalon Dr-Te Rapa roundabout as Transit changes control at the intersection with traffic lights.

SH1 traffic between The Base and Avalon Dr roundabouts will remain at one lane overnight for another week as drain work is done.

On Te Rapa Rd, the restriction will be in place until the median island is removed. The central island of the roundabout will be surrounded by barriers as topsoil is removed.

Transit plans to keep two lanes open during the day on the roundabout but may restrict it to one at night.
