Pakistan Capital’s Airport Area to Be Sealed on Sharif’s Arrival – TV
Text of report headlined “Airport area to be sealed on arrival of Nawaz Sharif” published by Dubai-based Pakistani television Geo TV website on 9 September
Islamabad: On the arrival of former Prime Minister and the PML (N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad, the five km part of the area adjacent to Islamabad airport will be closed for general public and traffic. Directives in this regard have been issued to the concerned officials.
According to sources, all roads towards the airport from Islamabad Sharae and Rawalpindi will be sealed and all vehicles in the jurisdiction of the Islamabad airport will be removed tonight. However, vehicles of the civil aviation will be exempted from it.
The sources expressed the possibility that the Sharif brothers may be deported as soon they land at the Islamabad airport.
