BroadLogic Names Albert Johnson Vice President of Marketing
BroadLogic Network Technologies, a leading provider of silicon solutions for broadband networks, today announced the appointment of industry notable Albert R. Johnson as vice president of marketing responsible for building the worldwide marketing team and evangelizing BroadLogic’s technology in the cable industry.
Prior to BroadLogic, Johnson was a senior vice president and GM of the Cable Solutions Group at Vyyo, Inc. where he defined and implemented marketing strategy for Vyyo technology solutions. Prior to that, Johnson has held significant positions in start-ups and MSOs including president of Synchronous Group, Inc. (acquired by Motorola) where he led a privately held company to leadership in fiber optic video and data transmission primarily within the CATV and telecommunications industries. Johnson spent several years leading the corporate engineering staff and evaluating advanced cable and satellite technologies at Cablevision Systems as well.
