Oil Prices Move Past $82

U.S. crude oil prices, moving past $82 a barrel, built on Wednesday’s record close in early electronic activity on the New York Mercantile Exchange Thursday.
Prices climbed 16 cents, or 0.20 percent, to $82.09 a barrel.
Heating oil was down 1.24 cents at $2.2329 a gallon. Reformulated gas was up 0.09 cents to $2.0943 a gallon.
Natural gas prices fell 0.06 cents to $6.12 per million British thermal units.
Motorists paid an average of $2.791 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, up a fraction of a cent, the AAA said in its fuel gauge report.
