US Airways Gets Football Fever With a Carolina Panthers Themed Aircraft

TEMPE, Ariz., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, Carolina Panthers fans can take their football fervor to new heights as US Airways dedicates an Airbus A319 aircraft painted with the Carolina Panthers colors and logo at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, the airline's largest hub.

US Airways Chairman and CEO Doug Parker will be on hand with representatives of the Panthers organization to formally dedicate the aircraft alongside US Airways employees.

This is the fourth NFL themed plane in the US Airways fleet of 356 aircraft. Just last week the airline introduced a Pittsburgh Steelers plane and last year, an Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles joined the fleet.
