The Ford Transit is now being built with an aux-in socket which allows drivers or passengers to plug their MP3 portable music devices such as iPods through the Ford audio unit.
The socket is positioned on the passenger side, under the upper dashboard lid. With sales of new Transit increasing in the UK, the company expects to make this new feature available in around 60,000 units.
