October 1, 2007
State-owned airline Indian Airlines has launched a new service between New Delhi and Kullu in an attempt to further tap the tourism industry in the state of Himachal Pradesh, reported the Press Trust of India.
As of now, the ATR-42 flight will be operated four times in a week.
Deepak Bahara, Indian Airline’s managing director, has been quoted by the news agency as saying: “If the national carrier gets a good response in the section it would think of making it a daily service.”
