Senior Airline Executive Bill Poerstel Joins CAVOK, a Division of Oliver Wyman, Inc.

Bill Poerstel has joined CAVOK, a division of Oliver Wyman, Inc., as Vice President, Maintenance Technical Services (MTS). Mr. Poerstel will lead CAVOK's MTS practice, which provides a wide variety of airframe maintenance program support to both airlines and maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) providers. He is tasked with guiding the organization to support CAVOK's ever-increasing client base and building the demand for CAVOK services, both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Poerstel joins CAVOK with extensive aviation industry experience, most recently as Vice President of Flight and Technical Operations for Mesaba Airlines. Prior to that, he held numerous management positions at United Airlines, including those within line maintenance and customer quality assurance. Mr. Poerstel's experience at both United and Mesaba has given him a broad view of airline operations as well as a deep understanding of maintenance operations.
