Omz to Conclude 3 Contracts on Building Oil Plants for $3.5 Bln in 2007

BRNO. Oct 3 (Interfax) – United Heavy Machinery (OMZ) (RTS: OMZZ) expects to conclude three turnkey contracts on the construction of oil and chemical plants for a total of $3.48 billion before the end of 2007, Valery Golovkin, technical director of OMZ-Oil and Gas Projects, said at an exhibition in Brno.
Golovkin said OMZ would receive about 40% of the total cost of the contracts, while the rest will be distributed among sub- contractors.
The contracts are to be executed in 2008-2012.
