Plum Organics Introduces New Flavors in Baby Food

October 4, 2007

Plum Organics, a baby food brand, has announced the launch of its first DHA-fortified and stage three flavors, especially created to promote healthy eating.

These new recipes, including Pumpkin Banana and Mango Muesli, expand the brand’s stage one and two menus, while Harvest Vegetables with Turkey and Black Bean Tomato Ragout mark Plum Organics’s first stage three options. Three of the four new flavors also include Decosahexaenoic Acid (DHA), a key nutrient for infant development.

Plum Organics, available in the frozen foods section of Wild Oats, Whole Foods, Wegman’s and Shaw’s, offers gourmet baby food prepared with organic ingredients packaged in two four-ounce re-sealable, microwavable containers.

Gigi Lee Chang, president and founder of Plum Organics, said: “We believe that introducing babies to a variety of complex flavors in their early stages can help develop an adventurous and healthy taste for food later in life. We’re proud to provide parents with a diverse selection of nutritious and flavorful organic baby food.”
