Lundin Boosts Zinc

LUNDIN Mining has said that it expects to increase zinc ore production at its Neves Corvo mine in Portugal.
Production is set to rise to 2,400,000 tonnes per annum from 400,000, significantly increasing the company’s overall annual zinc and lead output.
Production of zinc from the recently discovered Lombador massive sulphide zone at the mine is set to start in 2011.
