Electron Solar Energy Adds Solar Water Heating Systems to Growing Product Mix
Posted on: Tuesday, 9 October 2007, 12:00 CDT
Electron Solar Energy (OTC:ESRG), an international distributor of alternative energy systems, announced today that it has added solar water heating systems to its growing product portfolio.
President and CEO of Electron Solar Energy Christopher Quinn, said, "Solar water heating is an ideal complement to our product mix, which currently include photovoltaic (solar electric) systems that power electricity worldwide. The ability to offer highly effective, pollution-free renewable energy systems strengthens our revenue base and profit potential. We have received many requests to date for solar water heaters, and are very pleased to bring this long-standing technology to our existing customer base. This allows domestic customers to save on their utility bills and capitalize on state and federal rebates for solar water heating, which are available standalone or alongside the rebates available for solar electric systems. In export business this technology allows users in remote locations to heat water for free. We anticipate new product orders will be brisk, adding to total revenues in 2008."
According to the U.S. Department on Energy, on average, residents with solar water heaters lower their heating bills by 50%--80%, and because the sun is free, you're protected from future fuel shortages and price hikes. Based on federal income tax deductions allotted for solar energy systems, on a monthly basis, the savings of the system can outweigh the costs of installation over the near- or long-term. "We look forward to providing our customers with reliable sources of power and heat that help solve the world's environmental and economical challenges related to the energy crisis," said Quinn.
