Oil and Gas Company Ethos Energy, LP Announces the Drilling of Landry #1 Well in Lavaca County, Texas

Ethos Energy, LP, a company focused on the exploration of oil and gas, announced the commencement of drilling, or "spudding," of the Landry #1 in Lavaca County, Texas. The Landry #1 is a developmental natural gas well that is to be drilled to a depth of approximately 9,950 feet.
"We have a great rig with a great crew and a very experienced operator," said Tony Morrison, president and general partner of Ethos Energy. "Everything is in place for what we expect will be a quick and smooth drill."
"We have an abundance of data from this field and from the numerous wells that have been drilled near the Landry #1," said Brandon Laxton, senior broker at Texas Securities Partners, Inc., registered placement agent for Ethos Energy. "All the indications are that this is going be a very good well."
It is expected that drilling, which commenced on October 2, 2007, will take approximately 17 days.
