China Wind Power Industry Report 2007 2008 Available Now
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c71145) has announced the addition of “China Wind Power Industry Report, 2007-2008″ to their offering.
The wind power industry had achieved the breakthrough in 2006, and is from the initial period to the fast development period. The new installed capacity was 1.334 million kw in 2006, and the accumulative installed capacity was 2.589 million kw, and the growth rate was 104.55%. The wind power installed capacity increased nearly 17 times from the year of 1997 to 2006.
The wind generating capacity was 2.7 billion kwh in 2006, up 67.4% year-on-year, while it just accounted for 0.095% in the total generating capacity, which influencing little on the total power demand and supply, and can only be the common power type supplement. However, in the remote areas, the wind power plays an important role to solve the problem without electricity.
According to the preliminary exploiting, the wind resource on land that can be used in China amounts to 253 million kw, so China has the huge wind resources. According to China’s plan, the wind power installed capacity scale will amount to 30 million kw in 2020, and then the wind power industry will embrace the unprecedented development opportunity.
