OPIS Adds Energy Job Board to Its Website

Posted on: Friday, 12 October 2007, 12:00 CDT

Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) has partnered with Energy Jobs Network (EJN), a vertical market job board for the energy industry, to provide links to job opportunities in the downstream energy sector.

Visitors to the OPIS website, http://www.opisnet.com/, can now connect to the EJN database from OPIS' new energy job board. This new service provides energy companies and individuals access to what is rapidly becoming the largest energy jobs database in the world.

"We are excited at the value the EJN network will offer our customers," says Brian Crotty, President, OPIS. "Helping our customers tap into this great resource just makes good sense. Our new job board will help energy employers expedite the hiring process and help individuals stay proactive to the marketplace."

The addition of OPIS now brings EJN's total member sites to twenty-two (22). Matt Richards, President of Energy Jobs Network (EJN) a vertical market job board network established in 1999, says, "Our goal of becoming the number one source for energy job opportunities is becoming a reality. We are especially gratified to have a tremendous energy industry leader like OPIS join our network."

Energy Jobs Network (EJN) is a group of energy related sites that have come together to help meet the staffing needs of the energy industry. Energy employers can conveniently post jobs or search for applicants. Individuals can search for jobs in the EJN database, which contains energy sector jobs postings from across North America.

Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) is the most widely accepted fuel price benchmark for supply contracts and competitive positioning. It's used as the benchmark price by the world to buy and sell U.S. gasoline, diesel, ethanol, biodiesel, LP-gas, jet fuel, crude, propane, feedstocks, resid, and kerosene. Through its subsidiary, Axxis Software, it also provides leading-edge software solutions for petroleum marketers looking to automate price collection, data storage and repricing of dealer and commercial accounts. OPIS is a private, independent publication not associated with managing investments.
