COADE Introduces New CADWorx Video Training Course

October 16, 2007

COADE announced today the introduction of a new CADWorx Plant Professional Video Training Course, a COADE-approved, comprehensive training program with a step-by-step workbook designed to allow a person to learn the various software modules at his or her own pace including all of the major aspects of using, customizing and mastering CADWorx Plant Professional. The new videos contain a full five days of course content, the same basic content as the training classes delivered by COADE experts across the globe. Covered in the videos are such things as 3D plant modeling; piping, equipment and steelwork modeling; component placement, annotation, and modeling; piping specification; XRef usage; producing bills of material; the use of databases and ISOGEN; and much more.

“We developed these CADWorx Plant training videos to provide both the novice and experienced user with a set of standardized skills, best practices and how-to methods for improving their efficiency and throughput when using the software,” explained David Diehl, the director of COADE’s training division. “Some key benefits of the training videos we see are the flexibility and ease of use the videos will allow and the savings they will enjoy compared to the expense of traveling to a regional training seminar for a five-day course,” Diehl added. After completing the key parts of training videos, the user should be able to begin using CADWorx Plant Professional for designing and modeling plants in 3D along with their associated piping, steel, equipment, components and other assemblies.
