TASC, Inc. Appoints Bob Silsby to Lead Business and Technology Office
CHANTILLY, Va., Sept. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — TASC, Inc. has named Bob Silsby vice president of its Business and Technology Office, which connects TASC customers to the best technologies to achieve their missions. He joins TASC from the Central Intelligence Agency, where he was a senior intelligence officer assigned to the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), serving most recently as technical director and chief executive of the NRO Ground Enterprise Directorate.

While at NRO, Silsby oversaw the formation and execution of policies, strategies, system engineering, acquisition and maintenance of systems related to satellite command and control, mission planning and scheduling, data processing, infrastructure and dissemination functions. He also provided leadership to government agencies and industry in transitioning to an architecture designed to integrate the global intelligence community.
Silsby attended Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the Catholic University of America.
