Go Pack, They’re Back!
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ – Go Pack, They’re back! After a 20-year hiatus, Gold Transportation’s Florida Flights, Atlantic City’s original non-stop jet service to Fort Lauderdale, returns to Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) offering customers a convenient and hassle-free way to escape the cold this winter and enjoy the warm, Florida sun.
Initially introduced in the 1980′s, Florida Flights was the first jet service to take advantage of how convenient Atlantic City International Airport is to South Jersey residents and began offering a non-stop flight to Florida. Now, back after all of these years, Florida Flights will be offering Thursday flights to Fort Lauderdale, returning on Mondays, beginning January 12th.
Pricing for the flights start at $150 each way, which includes all taxes, fees and a complimentary in-flight lunch. The flights are available by booking online at FLYACY.com.
To celebrate the return of the program, Gold Transportation has partnered with NBC 40 and South Jersey’s Greatest Hits radio station, KOOL 98.3, to offer local residents the chance to win free tickets on the flights this winter.
Gold, founded in 1981, has been flying flights in and out of ACY for over 30 years and currently charters over 120 flights per month for the Atlantic City casino industry, making it the largest charter operator at the airport. Florida Flights will be utilizing the same jet aircraft the casinos use to ferry in their customers.
Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) now offers more advantages than ever before with its new terminal expansion designed for passenger comfort and a new parking garage close to the airport terminal, creating a seamless travel experience for customers.
