Alvarez Named Business Manager for Gage Products in Mexico

CHAPULTEPEC, Mexico, Nov. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Celia Alvarez has been named business development manager for Gage Products Company’s operations in Mexico.

Headquartered in Chapultepec, her responsibilities also will include product launches, new-program presentations and purchasing, according to Sergio Ramirez, general director for Gage Products Company de Mexico.

Alvarez began her automotive career at Ford Motor Company in Mexico as an industrial-materials buyer. She went on to hold purchasing positions involving energy resources, welding, consumables and special tools.

“Celia Alvarez is a welcome addition to Gage’s international management team,” said Dan Finkiewicz, president and chairman of Gage Products Company. “Her automotive management experience combined with her expertise in global purchasing and commodities will benefit our customers throughout the Americas.”

Finkiewicz noted that Alvarez initially will support Gage programs in Coahuila, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Saltillo, Silao and Taluca.

Alvarez holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and a master’s degree in business administration, both from the Tecnologico de Monterrey University in Mexico City.
