Priority Power Management, a leading Texas-based independent energy management and consulting services firm, today announced continued growth plans including the opening of an office in McAllen, coving the south Texas markets, as well as expanding business development efforts in the Houston market.

Salvador Hinojosa joined the company as the Director of Business Development and will lead the South Texas organization. Additionally, Melissa Vitela has joined as Senior Analyst for South Texas.

Previously, Hinojosa served as Senior Vice President of Sales with Hino Energy and most recently served in an account management role at CPL Retail Energy, a Direct Energy company. A veteran of regulated and deregulated electricity environments, Vitela most recently coordinated sales activities for CPL Retail Energy.

In Houston, Priority Power Management has expanded business development efforts with the recent additions of industry veterans Branan Huthnance and Carolina Kato.

Huthnance was previously an account manager at Amerex Energy Services, LLC, and an energy broker at Choice Energy Services Retail, L.P. His experience providing energy supply solutions to the oil and gas market segment is complimentary to Priority Power Management’s already strong position providing these services to over a third of the top 100 independent oil and gas producers in Texas.

Kato was previously Regional Sales Manager for Excelergy North America, where she led sales efforts to Retail Electricity Suppliers in Texas. Prior to Excelergy, Kato was Director of Sales for Choice Energy Services Retail, L.P. providing energy brokerage and supply services to commercial and industrial businesses throughout Texas.

“We are extremely excited about the addition of Sal, Melissa, Branan and Carolina. They are all top notch energy professionals with deep industry and local expertise necessary to offer our unique services. Our proven energy supply management strategies allow businesses to minimize energy costs and maximize their control over energy procurement in the volatile market,” said John Bick, Managing Principal of Priority Power Management.
