Salient Federal Solutions Opens Newest Talent Operations Center in Colorado Springs
FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient), a leading provider of information technology, engineering and intelligence analysis services, announced today the opening of its newest Talent Operations Center located in Colorado Springs, CO. The official opening of the Center will be celebrated this evening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by company President and CEO Brad Antle along with local dignitaries from the City of Colorado Springs and U.S. Senator Michael F. Bennet’s office.
Salient’s Talent Operations applies an innovative approach to identifying and qualifying talent that is unique to the federal contracting market, featuring a deeply methodical system to rapidly and precisely match IT professionals and engineers to government requirements. The talent evaluation process and dedicated facilities enable Salient to develop comprehensive knowledge of candidates’ skills, expertise, and strengths, as well as their backgrounds, professional goals, and personality traits. All of these attributes are carefully evaluated and matched against extensive criteria to identify the best set of candidates for a given position.
Located in the Patriot Park One Building, the Colorado Springs office will be responsible for capturing and managing a pool of 500,000 potential candidates. The Center expects to fill approximately 100 assignments in the Colorado Springs and surrounding areas in 2012.
“Our customers rely on the quality of the people we assign to execute on their mission critical programs. Our uniquely trained Talent Operation Specialists (TOS) gives us a high degree of confidence in our ability to deliver on their requirements and meet their needs with precision and speed,” said Brad Antle, CEO of Salient. “Once an award has been granted to one of our customers, our team can get to work immediately, get the job done sooner, and most importantly, get it done right.”
Salient’s Talent Operations Centers operate similar to network or security command centers. Talent Operations Specialists work behind dual flat screens, using a documented process framework to manage a talent pool of more than 500,000 verified candidates in more than 20 labor categories, most with clearances. Assignments and performance are monitored on a video wall.
The Colorado Springs facility is the third such facility for the company with additional centers currently in operation in Fairfax, VA and Tampa, FL.
