Affordable Motors Announces Nissan Bringing Back Datsun
BROOKLYN, N.Y., March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Affordable Motors, a used car dealership in Brooklyn, NY, is excited to announce that recently Nissan Motor Company recently went on the record stating that they will bring back the Datsun brand.
This recent revelation is taking place to help bolster not only production base but also Nissan Motor Company’s sales presence in Indonesia. Nissan Motor Co. also added that they plan to increase total capacity to 250,000 units, annually, by 2014 in Indonesia. This expansion will also increase workforce to over three-thousand workers strongly benefitting the local economy.
Carlos Ghosn, Nissan’s CEO, is excited to work with Indonesia, stating that, “Nissan is bringing new jobs and new vehicles to Indonesia. We are going to expand our production capability and offer a new and exciting product line here.”
This can only mean good things for both Nissan and Indonesia. Indonesia is growing at a rapid rate in almost all markets across the board. With their government’s new implementation of a Green Car program, and Nissan’s help, Indonesia will not only double their industry volume by 2017, but do so with more efficient vehicles.
For those excited regarding Datsun’s reincarnation, it can be expected to be released at some point in 2014 with India, Indonesia and Russia receiving the first fleet. If it does particularly well, don’t be surprised to see this vehicle make its way back across the pond to the United States.
Affordable Motors is a used Nissan dealer in Brooklyn, NY. They also have a wide-selection of many other used makes and models.
