A new vision of factory quality control

Dentro LRX uses microwave technology, instrumental to Microwave Vision’s worldwide
success, to reveal physical parameters – chemical composition, such as density, humidity
level – or defects in materials – like inclusions, humidity pockets, knots in wood, or
leather hide defects.

A contact-free system, this linear camera allows for both an internal and external
product analysis in high resolution.

Dentro LRX makes it possible to have permanent quality control on a continuous
production line, by immediately detecting defects in any sort of non-metallic material.

Microwave imagery, in combination with computerized data processing, enables this
process to take place in real time. This technology is completely safe for the
environment, and eliminates any health risk to operators, as opposed to scanners using
X-rays or gamma rays.

The new, rugged Dentro LRX has been designed to be resistant to water, dust,
vibrations, and strong variations in temperature: it is therefore suited to a wide variety
of industrial environments. “Following initial sales in the field of mineral wool
production, we are now approaching, either directly or through distribution partners who
specialize in nondestructive inspection, other markets: the paper industry, composite
materials, construction materials, wood, leather, and potentially the food industry for
the inspection of foodstuffs,” said Philippe Garreau, CEO of Microwave Vision.
