Armstrong Forensic Adds Human Factors to Expert Witness Services Practice
TAMPA, Fla., April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Armstrong Forensic Engineers (Armstrong) today announced the addition of Human Factors to its Expert Witness Services litigation support practice. Human factors professionals study the interactions among people, products, activities and other elements of systems for the purpose of optimizing safety and overall system performance. Armstrong’s Human Factors consultants look at the role of memory, perception, dexterity, reaction time and cognition in traffic accidents and engineering failures. The firm also studies engineering failures in the biomechanics and electrical engineering fields.
Armstrong appointed Jason Jupe, M.S. Senior Consultant in charge of Human Factors Engineering. Mr. Jupe specializes in analyzing the role of human factors in vehicle collisions and has extensive experience in vehicle design and accident reconstruction, ergonomics, perception, cognitive engineering, and failure analysis. He holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University with a specialty in Human Factors and Ergonomic Engineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
