Grand Sierra Resort Announces Charter Air Service To Destination Resort
RENO, Nev., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The Grand Sierra Resort is taking the hassle out of traveling for their casino customer through its new charter air service, GSAir. The only northern Nevada property to offer this type of program, GSR gaming guests who visit the world-class destination resort can now arrive via the charter and experience door-to-door service eliminating security lines, baggage claims and added airline fees. The gaming resort property began offering the service to select markets in mid-April. A complete list of cities can be found at www.gsaircharter.com
All GSAir packages include round-trip flights, bi-weekly travel, transportation to and from the resort, exclusive VIP check-in and deluxe accommodations in the newly renovated Summit Suites of the GSR. The 30-seat aircraft will fly in and out of private jet facilities making charters extremely luxurious and convenient. Complimentary drinks and snacks are provided on each trip.
“Reno offers a better gaming experience and value for the gaming budget,” said Tom Flaherty, vice president of casino operations, Grand Sierra Resort. “Not to mention the luxurious amenities the property has to offer.”
The GSR’s aggressive gaming limits on table games provides players with an exciting, advantageous and competitive environment. The newest mix of slot games including Ghost Busters, Dark Knight, Paradise Fishing, Pirates Battle and Leprechaun’s Gold combined with the fact that the casino just loosened their slots by 40 percent, offers players longer and more winning play activity.
GSR kicked off the New Year with renovations to the area’s largest resort/convention destination property. Construction is underway and nearly complete in some areas for the $25 million interior facelift. Refreshed and newly decorated Summit level suites include high-quality furnishings, lighting and accessories; improvements to the lobby, guest registration desk and casino floor welcome guests to an elegant and vibrant atmosphere. New decor in the chic ultra lounge provides an intimate setting to listen to live entertainment and unwind from the day.
To complete the experience, Grand Sierra offers diners an exquisite selection of restaurants including Charlie Palmers Steak featuring Artisan cuts of meat and an eclectic selection of wines. If pasta is tempting your taste buds, Charlie Palmer’s Briscola is a modern Italian eatery with favorites such as three-cheese lasagna, crispy chicken and veal parmesan accompanied by a glass of Chianti. Rim offers a culinary trip through Asia with specialty dishes from China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Korea. The restaurant also features an “all you can eat” sushi bar.
