Zavee Teams with Affinity Marketing Group to Provide Local Shopping Rewards to Membership Organizations

May 24, 2012

BOCA RATON, Fla. and NATICK, Mass., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Affinity Marketing Group, LLC (AMG), the nation’s leading provider of member benefit programs to affinity groups, has agreed to offer Zavee shopping reward programs to its client organizations as a member benefit. AMG (www.affinitymg.com) currently has relationships with more than 300 organizations across the United States. The Wildlife Foundation of Florida (www.wildlifefoundationofflorida.com), a major statewide conservation group, is the first AMG client to offer Zavee as a member benefit. The Zavee program is expected to be available on the Foundation’s web site within the next several weeks. Zavee (www.zavee.com) is an everyday rewards program. Unlike daily deals, Zavee offers rewards each and every time shoppers visit hundreds of local Zavee stores and restaurants. Zavee provides an outstanding shopper experience by tracking transactions with registered credit and debit cards instead of loyalty cards or coupons.

“AMG has long been interested in offering a local shopping rewards program alongside our travel, insurance and other benefits,” commented Douglas D. Furbush III, Chief Executive Officer of AMG, “Zavee is the first program that meets our standards for boosting member satisfaction, building long-term loyalty, generating incremental revenue and attracting new members.”

“A key component of Zavee’s growth strategy is to align our company with channel partners that can bring Zavee significant numbers of new shoppers who will benefit from the Zavee shopping experience,” said Zavee Chief Operating Officer Ron Stack. “The agreement with AMG is our most recent step toward implementing that strategy, and one for which Zavee has very high hopes.”

Zavee differs from other local shopping reward programs in its focus on fostering long-term, value-creating relationships between merchants and their customers. Its proprietary platform also leads the local rewards industry in its integration of social media for shoppers, merchants and non-profit causes alike. Stack commented, “Organizations such as The Wildlife Foundation of Florida will be rewarded for their forward thinking with increased member engagement, an expanded social media footprint and a reputation for thought leadership in the affinity group community.”
