Port Orchard Welcomes Quadrant Homes’ New Community Of McCormick Meadows
BELLEVUE, Wash., June 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — In May, Quadrant Homes celebrated the grand opening of its newest community in Port Orchard, McCormick Meadows. Priced from the low $200,000s, this collection of 167 homesites offers a secluded retreat in a stunning forested environment, just minutes away from walking trails, parks and world-class golf courses.
Based on homebuyers’ strong interest in the new community, Quadrant Homes began selling homesites in McCormick Meadows in February 2012 – months ahead of schedule. In just three months, the community sold 17 homes.
“With the success of the Ridge at McCormick Woods, the number-one selling community on the Kitsap Peninsula, it was very clear to us that Port Orchard remains highly desirable destination for new homeowners looking for quality construction and unprecedented customization,” said Mark Gray, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Quadrant Homes. “We’re looking forward to continuing the ‘Built Your Way’ experience here with the opening of McCormick Meadows.”
During the grand opening celebration, Tim Matthes, Port Orchard’s Mayor, presented Quadrant Homes President Ken Krivanec with a key to the city. Following the ceremony, guests including Kitsap real estate brokers, the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce and several of Quadrant Homes’ vendor partners were treated to a behind-the-walls, hard-hat tour of one of the homes under construction. These tours provided a first-hand look at Quadrant Homes’ commitment to sustainable building practices and its unparalleled customization.
Homes in McCormick Meadows will feature Quadrant’s unique customizable floor plans, with nine-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances and white painted millwork throughout. Quadrant’s new Built Your Way touchscreens offer Quadrant homebuyers the opportunity to interact and make changes to their floorplan on a 60″ display in the community sales office, allowing them to visualize potential changes free of charge.
This community is located just an hour from Seattle, and is an easy drive to the Bremerton Naval Shipyard, the Bremerton-Seattle ferry and Tacoma via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. McCormick Meadows is bordered by over 10 miles of picturesque walking trails and is served by the highly regarded schools of the South Kitsap School District.
Homebuyers can also take advantage of the innovative Quadrant Assurance program, which includes: Smart Move Advantage (guaranteed rent of their current for up to three years); Mortgage Payment Protection (a 24-month mortgage payment protection insurance policy in the event of a job loss); and Homebuyer Solutions (a free personal credit analysis and consultation.) This is combined with the Built Your Way promise that, if a homeowner isn’t completely satisfied with their home on completion, they don’t have to buy it.
