Burbank, CA (PRWEB) June 15, 2012

Shred Editor Holdgren writes captivates with his off-beat commentary on new 55” 2012 high definition TV models with a lighthearted, easy to read angle that is enjoyable to read. Some of the new 55” TV reviews focus on top end models with unusual features such as the Magic Remote from LG and the Smart Interactivity feature included on the top Samsung models which allows users to “speak” to the TV or use hand movements for control. Some of the top 55” HDTV choices for 2012 will come as a shock to many.

One of the top value 55” LED TV choices for 2012 is the Samsung UN55ES6100, for which Holdgren writes, “This is a great HDTV entry level LED for a very attractive price which has the Samsung Smart TV suite and built in Wifi. The CMR (Clear Motion Rate) presents fast motion image like an African safari they are so Vivid! It’s not clear from Samsung whether the panel is 120Hz and the CMR is enhanced through backlight manipulation to arrive at the “comprehensive measure to show the ability to display images in motion.” Nevertheless, it is effective and also prevents a lot of judder across the screen when moving side to side.”

“I like to create fun-to-read, creative reviews,” states Holdgren. “If they are not fun, people will get bored and not read much of a review — there are plenty of boring product reviews out there. I wanted to do something different.”

Another top rated newcomer to Holdgren’s top 55” HDTVs list for 2012 is the Panasonic TC-P55GT50 for which he writes, “Remember the Pioneer Kuro plasma TVs that were famous for their black levels. Panasonic has all but caught that exemplary milestone of pitch blacks on the TV in a pitch black room. They demonstrated this well at CES and my own viewing of the GT50 shows blacks to be nearly perfect if the Brightness control is not set too high.”

In writing about the video engine in the top Sony TV for 2012 thus far on the market — the Sony KDL-55HX850 steve writes, “Sony´s best video engine works exceptionally well and has a dual-chip processing component. It optimizes and up converts all signals to the panels native resolution and is second to none with this type of processing and signal generation.”

Next in the top 55” HDTV choices for holdgren is the Samsung UN55ES7500 for which he writes, “Just as with the ES8000 top line the ES7500 is Hot in Appearance! This TV has a super thin presence of only a little over an inch whilst the side frame is but .2 or .3 inches in width. There is that small camera perched atop to add a little height there but you really do not notice it.”

And last, the top Samsung model LED TV for the year, the Samsung UN55ES8000 shares top honors. “The 3D viewing is second only to perhaps the best plasma TVs on the market. It is active 3 dimensional through active shutter glasses. Two pairs come in the box. The superb light from the LEDs help to give you a great depth of appearance which makes 3D much more involved and enjoyable.”
