Continental Resources Plans 2012 Investors Day for Tuesday, October 9, 2012
OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Continental Resources, Inc. (NYSE: CLR) plans to hold its 2012 Investors Day on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in Oklahoma City in conjunction with its 45(th) corporate anniversary. Presentations will begin at 8 a.m. CT at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City.
Presentations will focus on Continental’s five-year strategic growth plan for 2012-2017, with particular emphasis on its 2013 growth outlook. In addition, Continental teams will discuss their plans to grow and increase the efficiency of the Company’s operations over the next several years. The Company will discuss how it is expanding the geographic scope and potential of its exploration and production operations. Finally, the Company will discuss general operating and growth expectations for 2018-2022.
Along with record second-quarter production growth, Continental on August 8, 2012 announced it is ahead of plan to triple production. The Company’s original five-year growth plan was announced at its 2010 Investors Day in October 2010. Continental now expects to triple production 18-to-24 months ahead of the original year-end 2014 target, and in addition to triple proved reserves ahead of schedule.
