Alcatel-Lucent to Showcase Converged Mobile Technology and Services Leadership at the CTIA Wireless and IT & Entertainment Trade Show

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced plans to demonstrate its technology leadership at the upcoming CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment trade show, taking place in San Francisco Oct. 23-25. The Alcatel-Lucent booth (#621) will feature a wide range of demonstrations and solutions that show customers how the company can help them compete and differentiate in the market place with its comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions and experienced global services team.

* Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess 3500 Nonstop Laptop Guardian - a secure, always-on 3G wireless platform that allows enterprise IT managers to track, troubleshoot and manage mobile laptops 24/7, even when powered off or offline. * Dynamic Ad Studio and Enabling Services - leverages the IPTV and IMS infrastructure to create and deliver creative targeted personal mobile ads based on the end-user's profile and preferences * Mobile Content & Delivery Services - highlights the Alcatel-Lucent 5965 mPower mobile content platform, a software product that enables service providers to manage and orchestrate the delivery of all their services (applications, video, music, ringtones, information, etc.) to end users based on individual preferences. * Blended WEB 2.0 IMS Services -- enables a new set of communication applications, accessible by wireless device, on top of the Alcatel- Lucent 5350 IMS Application Server and demonstrates a dynamic IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) address book embedded in a legacy web page with presence capabilities. * LIME (Live IMS Experience) - shows how to enrich the standard Alcatel- Lucent Windows Mobile Client through a set of plug-ins with innovative features highlighting Alcatel-Lucent's ability to blend services between IMS and non-IMS architectures within the same application (Webmail). * Mobile Advertising - a mobile TV solution service providers can offer to their subscribers based on the end users profile and preferences. * Unlimited Mobile TV - Alcatel-Lucent's 3G-friendly proposition that allows mobile operators to protect and leverage their 3G investments while enabling all industry players (including TV broadcasters, terrestrial broadcasters, satellite operators, content owners) to take full advantage of the booming Mobile TV market by delivering TV programming to users via their mobile phones and other devices wherever they are. * Developer Exchange -- a customer-focused and customer-driven program that ensures our service provider partners have a continuous stream of new applications and content to choose from - helping to differentiate service offerings, build customer loyalty, reduce churn, increase traffic and grow revenue.
