LEAP Offers ‘Home Energy Makeover Contest’ to Arlington Residents
ARLINGTON COUNTY, Va., Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) is sponsoring a Home Energy Makeover Contest in Northern Virginia, it announced today at an event with Representative James Moran and Dominion Resources. Residents of Arlington and around Northern Virginia are eligible to enter the contest and have the chance to win a home energy makeover worth up to $10,000, $5000 or $3000 for energy retrofits.
The Home Energy Makeover Contest promotes energy efficiency in the Northern Virginia area by educating residents on how their home utilizes energy. It is free to enter. Northern Virginia residents can enter the contest online at www.novaenergycontest.com.
