No Slowing Down for Instagram Users and Webstagram
Webstagram receives highest traffic and continues to enhance the Instagram experience with features that cannot be found on the application.
Singapore, Singapore (PRWEB) October 19, 2012
As Instagram celebrated its second birthday last week, Webstagram (http://web.stagram.com) is three months away from its own but it could have an earlier celebration because of two recent milestones.
Webstagram just reached 170 million monthly page views in October 2012, making it the highest traffic up to date. The team considers it a huge difference compared to January this year when it only saw 11 million monthly page views.
On Alexa, Webstagram secures a global rank at 2,027 as of October 17, 2012, which is higher than other Instagram website viewers.
Webstagram´s social media fans are also on the rise. Its Facebook Likes saw a 280,000 increase in only 9 months from January (20,000) to October (300,000) 2012.
While more Instagrammers are viewing their photos on their web browsers, Webstagram has also been working hard to release new features for them including blog widgets (http://web.stagram.com/tools) for bloggers who want to display Instagram photos outside the application.
These widgets namely the Follow Me button and Instagram gallery can also be displayed on websites, making it easy for brands to showcase their Instagram identity.
Webstagram has also released features to help Instagram users with their increasing needs but find the application limiting. Features such as direct messaging, subscription button, and keywords are found on the user’s page, just below the profile picture, but not on the Instagram application.
Clicking on the photo also allows users to share the photo via social media such as Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest, Twitter and Tumblr. (http://web.stagram.com/n/webstagram)
For users who want to discover more Instagrammers, Search.Stagram, Forum.Stagram and the recently launched blog Blog.Stagram are the right places to start.
Webstagram fans can expect more features and updates before 2012 ends.
When asked about upcoming features, the team hints at one that helps find celebrities on Instagram.
Webstagram provides Instagram users a wide range of functional tools for viewing photos and interacting with each other on web browsers. The Instagram website viewer was developed by A-FIS PTE LTD, a Singapore-based web-developing company founded in August 2011. For more information, contact info(at)stagram(dot)com.
