Flux Power CEO Presents at Advanced Energy Solutions Conference
ESCONDIDO, Calif., Oct. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Chris Anthony, Chief Executive Officer of Flux Power(®) Holdings, Inc. (OTC: FLUX), an innovator in durable, scalable, and affordable advanced energy storage systems presented at the 3rd Annual Advanced Energy Solutions (AES) conference, held in San Diego, CA, on October 23-25, 2012. His remarks to an audience of leaders and innovators in the energy storage industry centered on the importance of advanced energy storage solutions, as well as the mission behind starting Flux Power and how the company differentiates itself in the marketplace.
Mr. Anthony’s presentation highlighted Flux Power’s use of lower cost, lithium batteries from multiple suppliers in their battery management systems (BMS). This approach enables them to deliver a BMS that is tailored to their customer’s requirements, and over time, keep the overall cost lower than lead acid suppliers. Flux BMS then manages the batteries to perform equally or better than competitive solutions.
Commenting on his presentation, Mr. Anthony stated, “At Flux Power, our focus is on developing and delivering a complete, advanced battery solution to our customer. This approach enables us to provide large storage systems that outperform our competitors, who focus largely on the chemistry of their cells and not the integration needs of their customers. I’m pleased that our highly effective, lower cost battery management solutions are currently addressing several key clean technology markets, including lead acid battery replacement, electric vehicles, backup power and solar array power systems.”
AES offered conference participants with the opportunity to interface with critical material and component suppliers in a relaxed and interactive setting. Industry leaders from a variety of energy solutions provided detailed and informative presentations that address today’s integrated solutions for the utilities, wind, transportation and industrial markets. The conference also provided attendees with the most updated energy solutions available in the market today.
“Our conference brought together stakeholders in the energy storage field, including manufacturers of raw materials, components, systems, as well as end-users, policy makers, and investment sources and we were pleased to have Mr. Anthony join us as a featured presenter,” said Bobby Maher, Principal at FullPower Inc., the organizer of AES. “Mr. Anthony’s presentation introduced Flux Power and how it serves the energy storage market today. Moreover, we appreciated his insight and knowledge on the market, which helped our audience gain a better understanding of the importance of this evolution as advanced energy solutions become a larger part of our world’s economy.”
