Titan Wins Seattle Transit Contract
NEW YORK, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Titan has been awarded a new five-year contract for the exclusive right to sell advertising across King County Metro’s system. The contract, which includes a two-year extension, was won competitively and means Titan will continue to operate a contract it first won in 2005. This is the 28(th) municipal advertising contract Titan has won since 2005.
The award reflects King County Metro’s belief that Titan continues to offer the best value for the agency. Titan has grown the business 47 percent since taking over in 2005.
The new contract will continue to allow Titan to sell media across King County Metro’s 1,400-strong fleet of buses. Recent innovations such as the RapidRide buses have given King County Metro the opportunity to service more customers, while also enabling Titan to allow brands to connect with consumers in more targeted geographical areas.
“King County Metro media is the best way for brands using Out-of-Home to reach consumers in the Seattle market,” said Don Allman, President and CEO of Titan. “This is an important partnership for us and we have worked hard in concert with KCM throughout the contract to make it the success it is today.”
King County Metro is the 8(th) largest Transit Authority in the U.S with 118 million annual riders. The authority serves the largest county of Washington, including the city of Seattle.
