Ensuring the support of all races and growth in America, MyReportPlan donates to this valued cultural resource.
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) February 06, 2013
MyReportPlan, in honor of Black History Month, donates to the annual fund for the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture.
This Maryland museum and cultural center provides information and inspiration about the lives of African Americans. The museum shares the contributions African American Marylanders have made in the state’s early history to the present day.
MyReportPlan respects the message of this wonderful museum in providing a solid foundation for Maryland African American heritage, as well as national awareness of the great contributions they have had to United States history.
With the museum’s vision, “To share globally, and with integrity, the human drama of Maryland´s African American experience,” MyReportPlan hopes to also pass on the message of the hard work and historical significance of African Americans in the great state of Maryland.
Reginald F. Lewis, who the museum is named for, was the first African American to build a billion dollar company, but he didn’t let the money make him forget about his heritage.
With his financial growth, he became a beloved philanthropist when he created the Reginald Lewis Foundation in 1987, donating millions of dollars in grants throughout the years towards African American achievement. His legacy, foundation, and Maryland legislation helped create the museum in 2005 to share Maryland African American history with all.
MyReportPlan values diversity, not only during February, but in all aspects of their business all year round, hiring customer service agents and employees of all ethnicities and sexes. This branching out of the cultural divide is what has helped the company grow as a resource for public records and reliable client support.
Black History Month celebrates the achievements of African Americans, and MyReportPlan rejoices in this time. The company gives back to the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in hopes of supporting pride and respect for African Americans, not only in Maryland, but across the country.
