PennFuture appoints Elaine Labalme as acting media relations consultant

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future (PennFuture) today announced the appointment of Elaine Labalme as acting media relations consultant. She will be assuming the bulk of the duties of Director of Communications Jeanne Clark, who is on a temporary leave of absence.

Labalme has been affiliated with PennFuture as a communications consultant for the past two years. In that role, she has handled media relations work as well as social media channels and e-publications for the statewide organization. PennFuture is a statewide public interest membership organization with offices in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Wilkes-Barre. Founded in 1998, PennFuture’s activities include litigating cases before regulatory bodies and in local, state, and federal courts; advocating and advancing legislative action on a state and federal level; public education; and assisting citizens in public advocacy.
